My aerial journey began in 2017 at Fly Art in Hong Kong. From the very first climb, I felt the quiet transformation that happens when strength meets grace in the air. The discipline, artistry and courage demanded by aerial practice quickly became central to my life .
In 2019, after completing my Aerial Silks Teacher Training accreditation with Asia Aerial Arts, I founded my own studio — Backstage. There, I coached and mentored aspiring aerialists, guiding them through structured progression and artistic exploration. Teaching refined my technical understanding and strengthened my belief that true freedom in the air is built upon precision, patience and intelligent training .
In 2022, I relocated to London to further develop my craft. I also attained Aerial Yoga Teacher Training certification, expanding my foundation in movement and body awareness. I now train at Flying Fantastic and the National Centre for Circus Arts, continuing to broaden my repertoire across :
Aerial Silks
Aerial Straps
Aerial Hoop
Pole
Barre
Contortion
My style is defined by contrast and control — fluid transitions woven with dynamic drops, sustained strength sequences balanced with moments of still suspension.
I am drawn to choreography that explores tension and release: softness unfolding into power, silence followed by decisive movement. Clean lines, extended flexibility and musical sensitivity shape the language of my performance.
With a background in medicine and sport, I approach both training and teaching with structure and intention. I prioritize :
Intelligent conditioning
Mobility and flexibility development
Injury prevention and body awareness
Sustainable technical progression
Outside the air, my training includes yoga, stretching, contortion conditioning, jogging, barre and pole — building the resilience and control that support my aerial work.
I believe that with hard work, perseverance and self-belief, there is no limit to what we can achieve.
